This beautiful nomadic multi niched Afyon kilim is so easy to live with and would be a highlight in any room as a floor piece or for the wall .Afyon as a group include many kilim and cicim weavings from surrounding villages and also include examples woven by nomads for a young womans marriage dowry.These kilims are prized for their luxurious wool and beautiful colors, with older pieces characterized by restrained color combinations and use of earth tones (soft yellow, greens,terracotta and browns)They also feature a fine to medium weave with geometrical and hexagonal tribal motifs that are either arranged in neat rows or staggered throughout the field.
 
Our vintage pieces are all preloved and due to the age and/or handmade nature of these items, minor signs of patination,fading, wear, or slightly unsymmetrical lines may be present.These are not considered flaws,they are part of their unique nature and why we love using them in our homes as they add both character and charm.All our store items are handmade.
